We are actively recruiting for a full-time Central Processing Technician at our Capital Region Ambulatory Surgery.
The Central Processing Technician processes surgical instrumentation. This process includes washing and preparing surgical instrumentation trays, as well as wrapping, labeling, and sterilizing the equipment. They will be in charge of checking the indicator to ensure proper quality control, checking and documenting sterilization records, maintaining adequate par levels of inventory within the department, and preparing and checking case carts.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sterile processing certification (CRCST or CSPD) or provisional certification (CRCST) required or obtained within one (1) year
- Minimum of one (1) year related surgical or central service experience
