Capital Region Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an HR Generalist to work under the direction of the HR Manager to provide assigned personnel and administrative HR support for our busy Surgical Centers. The position will interface with management, team leaders, employees and physicians and will serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering HR required processes and work-related problems. The position will be engaged in employment staffing and recruitment, new hire processing and orientation, maintaining personnel files and paperwork, coordination of required training, compliance, leave administration, and other assigned tasks. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with recruiting, on-boarding, and benefit and leave administration. Familiarity with FMLA and other federal and state regulations is desired. Candidate must be detail oriented and must possess effective organization, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
