Capital Region Ambulatory Surgery Center located in the Bone and Joint Center is seeking a full time qualified candidate to manage its surgical outcome study program for 30 physicians. The Surgical Outcome System is an orthopeadic and sports medicine global registry. The primary purpose of SOS is for monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of various standard of care orthopeadic and sports medicine medical procedures, leading to the development of evidence-based protocols for treating patients.
Responsibilities to include:
- Electronic enrollment of study patients
- Interact with Patients on study protocols at various time points pre-operatively and post operatively
- Patient study follow-up at specific milestone dates
- Manage study database and report on study outcomes
A successful candidate must be an RN with a minimum of five years of orthopeadic experience or Medical Student with an interest in orthopeadics. Must be detail oriented, with accurate data entry skills; must have effective verbal and written communication skills; must maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
