“Dr. Harbin replaced my sister's hips (that's right, plural!), and when I decided to seek a second opinion on my hip, I did not hesitate to contact The Bone & Joint Center and request an appointment. When you visit the office, you might notice that Dr. Harbin's picture is not on display; he is a well-kept secret, and my sister and I fondly refer to him as "our family physician." I received an appointment within two weeks of calling the office, and when I decided to go ahead with the procedure, it was scheduled within two months. This may be attributed to it approaching summer time, but I'm not sure. I knew what to expect, and Dr. Harbin kept telling me that everyone responds differently to surgery, etc. I chose AMC for the operation and was treated with honesty and courtesy throughout the entire process - registration, pre-op, surgical suite, recovery and ortho floor. Anne Ryan, Dr. Harbin's nurse/assistant, has been responsive to questions that have arisen and has helped make my office visits relaxed, but informative. What a great team they make! I would also add that there were some initial problems with my insurance, and The Bone & Joint Center business office was very knowledgeable and quickly cleared up the confusion.”

“On Wednesday I damaged my knee though I was not quite sure how bad. When I woke the following day I decided a trip to the Emergency room was warranted . They did their standard test only to tell me what I already knew to be fact . There was no break. So they referred me to a provider I had used previously. After calling this provider and finding out it would be a week before I could be seen. Immense frustration set in. While talking with a friend about my situation they suggested that I call your office. Upon calling your office I was given an appointment later that very day. When I arrived, I had a short wait and was escorted to a room where after an examination it was determined I had torn my Meniscus. The doctor took great care and began treatment immediately. Had I not received the care and treatment I did who knows what further damage I could have done waiting a week to see the provider the hospital suggested. Thank you so much. ”
