“I fractured my right ankle in January of 2015 on black ice requiring surgery. Fortunately, I was able to get an appointment within a day or two with Dr. Lisella after being treated and casted in the ER. My fall and injury was not a pleasant experience, however, my experience at The Bone & Joint Center, their surgical center, and with Dr. Lisella was a great experience. Dr. Lisella and the staff were very attentive and professional and their Ambulatory Surgical Center was top notch and very efficient in all aspects.  The following September, I had a fall while traveling in Colorado, which resulted in a fracture of my left ankle. I was able to communicate with Dr. Lisella regarding my injury and was able to set up an appointment immediately and flew home the day after the injury. The care and concern I have received during these two injuries was excellent, and I am so glad that I chose The Bone & Joint Center and Dr. Jordan Lisella.”

“I have arthritis in my left foot in the area of my large toe knuckle. I was told by my podiatrist that I should stay away from surgery if possible. I had such pain in my large toe knuckle that is was limiting my walking. It pained a lot. I was very discouraged. I was only able to wear heavy walking/hiking shoes or could not walk on it. I was very discouraged that it was going to end my hiking and outdoor exploration. I had excellent results from a shoulder surgery another of your wonderful doctors did for me in Oct. 2015 and decided to speak to him about my foot. I decided to speak to one of your foot doctors. I just cannot say enough to express my thanks for giving me back my mobility. My foot continues to improve. Dr. Bagchi did tell me it takes a long time for a foot to heal. It has been 6 months and it continues to improve. I am SO happy with the results!! I have a 3 week hiking trip planned in Montana and Wyoming this fall. I am thankful every day for what Dr. Bacghi has done for me to be able to continue to walk and be in the places I love. I also want to recognize Dr. Bagchi's nurse. She was great. I contacted her several times before and after my surgery. She was wonderful. I really appreciate all the help she gave me.  I live an hour away and am so glad I made the trip to Albany instead of going to my local  doctor. I hope I never need more surgery, but if I do, I feel safe knowing I have a great place to go for help.  If anyone who reads this thinks I am a pushover and that is why this is such a great review that could not be further from the truth. I went to a local orthopedic doctor for my shoulder and was very unhappy with his suggestions, and I revisited my then local physician for help finding someone else to take care of my shoulder and he sent me to you for my shoulder surgery. I do not take my health lightly and am very comfortable complaining or going elsewhere when I am dissatisfied. Thank you so very much.”

“I had previous knee scoped and repaired by Dr. Alley. I had a torn meniscus that he repaired, and at the time, told me I would need at least a partial knee replacement showing me during surgery the exposed bare bone. After some time and pain, he sent me to see Dr. Roberts to evaluate my knee and both agreed I have a partial knee replacement. It has been 2 weeks after surgery and I am walking without pain and so very pleased with the outcome. I still have a ways to go I know that, but already see a huge difference walking pain free without the bone-on-bone feeling, and I could not be happier with the care of these fine surgeons at The Bone & Joint Center. “In October of 2014, I tore my rotator cuff lifting weights in my home gym. I put off having anything done on it for a year hoping that things would heal on their own. When that didn't happen, it was time to get medical help. Dr. Zanaros was recommended to me by a friend who is a dentist. He had torn his in a skiing accident and told me that he did a great deal of research to insure that he was going to have a positive outcome. He highly recommended Dr. Zanaros and thank God I took his recommendation seriously.  My surgery was a huge success. I had range of motion almost immediately and there was no pain associated with the surgery.  Here I am a year after surgery and my shoulder is stronger than it ever was. Thank you, Dr. Zanaros!!!”
