“Great!! If I need other surgery in the future, I would pick him.”
– Ruth B.
“Everything went smoothly and very professional. Thankful I was able to have the procedure done after many years of pain and difficult sleeping. Ican finally sleep on my right side again!”
– Caroline H.
“Dr. Flaherty took excellent care of me. Very thorough. Explained everything.”
– Gail W.
“Talk about divine intervention. I came upon Dr. Das as the oncall ortho surgeon at St. Peter's ER. I have been in his care since January 15. From a reconstructed knee cap to hardware failure causing an earlier-than-planned second surgery, he has made a horrific accident worry-free when it came to superb medical care, a bedside manner from days of old, navigating workers' comp, and a rehabilitation plan to restore full strength and range of motion. As an event planner of 34 years, I wondered if my career was over. Clearly, six months later, the answer to that question is a resounding NO.”
– Heidi L.
“From the first visit to the last follow-up exam, the doctor and his staff were courteous, thorough, and clear and precise in explaining the details and the procedures. All in all, compared to other similar experiences, this has been the best ever!”
– Philip Z.
“I have been playing sports competitively for over half a century and have had many injuries over the years. The worst hand injury I had occurred in January of 2015 in the form of my ring finger joints on my right hand being crushed by the fellows I was playing with. I have had jammed knuckles before, but never to this extent. After over a year, I finally decided to get it looked at. I first saw Dr. Lozman who took a few x-rays and said that I had broken it and it had healed improperly, so he referred me to another surgeon at The Bone & Joint Center, Dr. David Quinn. I was very pleased when Dr. Quinn reviewed everything with me and concluded that surgery would not be a benefit for me or my finger. He suggested that I try paraffin baths to try and loosen up the middle joint, which was still quite bent. I have been using warm paraffin baths on my finger religiously since and I plan on doing it for a year. I am still able to participate in all of the sports that I enjoy. I believe I have seen an incremental improvement in the finger joint since I started the paraffin baths. I believe that Dr. David Quinn made a good and practical call on my jammed finger situation.”

“My experience and interaction with Dr. Hedderman and his staff was exemplary. I found Dr. Hedderman's knowledge and expertise in his field to be beyond approach. All procedures, what to expect regarding surgery and recovery time, explaining these in detail and all questions were answered. Plus, these were explained in layman's terms. The staff were professional, courteous, and friendly making my visits to the doctor easy and stress free. I would highly recommend Dr. Hedderman and The Bone & Joint Center.”
– Jeannie S.
“Dr. Roberts put in a new knee two years after he told me I needed it. I walk perfectly, can bend, and have my life back. He's honest and speaks in a way to make sure you understand everything that's going on with you. He didn't torture me because I didn't have surgery when he thought I should have it. My results were fabulous. He's an amazing doctor.”
– Jill O.
“Very good as usual.”
– Jeff S.
“Both Dr. Alley and his PA, Sara, were very professional, put me at ease, answered all my questions, and were a great help in solving my problem. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend your facility and your services.”
– Joan N.
“My husband, Richard (also a patient), and I are VERY pleased. Dr. Shatynski is very thorough, easy to understand, and takes time to listen. We never feel rushed. Also, one thing I particularly like is that he dictates our session in front of us, so I know he heard our issues correctly. All the staff is pleasant, and appointments are scheduled in a timely manner. Good experience.”
– Carole K.
“I have had three minor surgeries with Dr. Whipple; carpel tunnel, trigger finger, and shoulder (tendinitis, bursitis, and a rotator cuff tear). I rate my experience for all....5 stars. Not only were my surgeries completely successful with little if any pain afterward, the entire team at The Bone & Joint Center is worthy of praise. There is minimal, I mean minimal, wait time for my scheduled appointments, and the surgical staff is professional and efficient. It just seems everyone knows their job and they are all very good at it! I recommend The Bone & Joint Center to all my friends (who, like myself, are also starting to fall apart)! Dr. Whipple has been wonderful in finding the reasons for my discomfort, as well as alleviating it in the least invasive way possible. Any therapy needed after my surgeries were minimal, if necessary at all. I certainly don't look forward to another visit there, however, I know if I do have any issues, I have the best place to go!”
– Christine D.
“I fell and fractured my right fibula while visiting in Buffalo, NY. Although I had immediate care in Buffalo, I knew I had to get back to Albany for consultation and care. I was able to call The Bone & Joint Center while coming home. My appointment was the next day in Urgent Care. Within the week, I had my surgery, and now I am healing. The surgical experience was excellent and honestly pain free. Everything was explained. I thank Dr. Lisella for being the kind and caring person that he is and for his perfect surgery. I thank Earnie and Kevin and all the nursing staff. If you have to break something, go to The Bone & Joint Center. Unbelievably great care.”
– Sharyn F.
“The people at the front desk were very courteous and pleasant. Waited 5 mins before called in, went to xray first, then saw Dr. Fuchs for my check-up and out the door. It was all done within 45 mins. Dr. Fuchs is a man of few words, but a wonderful surgeon, and he did an awesome surgery on my knee, which I am very grateful for. Going to have my other knee done next year!!!”
– Christine A.
“Thorough and explained everything well.”
– Christopher S.
“I love Dr. Toussaint. He has a GREAT bedside manner! He also knows how to give it to you also—very truthful doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. Love how he explains things to me especially, and takes the time, and CARES.”
– Dawn M.
“Have been going to the office for many years and am well satisfied with the service I have received from all who I have come in contact with, especially my doctor.”
– Virginia Y.
“I was born with no hip socket on the right side. When I was 8, a doctor moved some bone to create a hip socket, but the joint basically became fused. The pelvis was tipped, which was affecting the spine, pinching nerves, and causing pain throughout the body. There was no motion in the right hip. This limited employment opportunities, and I developed quite a negative self image from the whole affair. Dr. Fuchs was the only doctor in nearly 5 decades that would even consider my case. Now, 6 years after the bi-lateral hip replacement, I am free from bone pain and am able to walk much better and further than before. My spine is straighter and my self image is much better. Even 6 years after the surgery, I need to concentrate on walking properly after 45 years of getting around with a leg that was partially immobilized. Each of my visits to The Bone & Joint Center have been pleasant. The staff has been friendly and efficient, and of course, I can't thank Dr. Fuchs enough for tackling a challenging situation and having such great success.”
– Roger H.
“Everything was fine. No complaints at all.”
– Joan M.
“Dr. Whipple was very thorough in the exam and explained the results of the x-ray. My wife was a patient of his for 6 years due to a broken wrist and then RSD, which turned into a workers comp case. He is a very caring doctor and a great advocate for his patients.”
– Harold F.
“Dr. Mulligan has been a life saver keeping the bone-on-bone arthritis in my thumbs and wrist under control. I am nearing the stage where injections will no longer keep things comfortable, and I will be using Dr. Mulligan to do the necessary surgery to make a more permanent fix to the problem. I have complete trust in his care and concern for my needs. Thanks for all your help, Dr. Mulligan!”
“Just shots for arthritic knee (knees). He is very good.”
– Joan P.
“I am presently two weeks out from my second total knee replacement. Dr. Hospodar repaired my rotator cuff tear in 2009 and did a total knee replacement on my right knee in October 2015. Both previous surgeries produced results that exceeded my expectations, and I am looking forward to similar results this time. I have found Dr. Hospodar to be thorough, conscientious, and patient while helping me with my understanding the procedure, both during pre-operation, as well as follow-up with post-op. I would also commend the support staff and administrative staff at the practice: each visit I have made has been handled efficiently and professionally. I've never felt like a number, but always appreciated the personal concern expressed by each person I interacted with.”
– Tim M.
“Very pleasant and friendly office environment. Dr. Hedderman was very thorough and kind and diagnosed my broken sternum quickly and with the least amount of radiation.”
– Diane B.
“My nurse, Marley, was extremely nice and knowledgeable, which put me at ease from the start. The anesthesiologist had a dry sense of humor, which again, was a great way to forget that you where there for an operation—I apologize for not remembering his name. Dr. Das is an amazing surgeon!!”
