About

Dr. Donald Cally is a highly trained orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and management of spinal disorders. With extensive fellowship training and comprehensive experience in spine surgery, Dr. Cally provides advanced surgical and nonsurgical treatments tailored to each patient’s needs. His philosophy centers on treating every patient with the same care and compassion he would extend to his own family.

Dr. Cally earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester in New York and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Albany Medical College. He began his postgraduate training with a general surgery internship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, followed by a residency in orthopaedic research at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He then completed a second residency in radiology and orthopaedic surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Cally returned to New York City for a spine surgery fellowship at NYU Langone Health/NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he developed expertise in advanced spinal procedures and surgical techniques.

Inspired from a young age by his father, a general surgeon and lifelong role model, Dr. Cally brings a patient-centered, attentive approach to care. He is committed to helping patients find the most effective treatment to restore function and improve quality of life.

When he is not in the operating room or clinic, Dr. Cally enjoys downhill skiing, weight training, and following Formula 1 racing.
