About
Dr. Casey O’Connor is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction, including primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He has advanced expertise in direct anterior total hip replacement, robotic-assisted partial and total knee replacement, and complex revision procedures. His patient-focused philosophy centers on developing customized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s diagnosis and lifestyle goals—helping patients return to the activities they love.
Dr. O’Connor earned his undergraduate degree at The University of Tampa and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Albany Medical College. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center. Dr. O’Connor pursued fellowship training in adult reconstruction at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, where he received advanced training in joint replacement techniques and procedures.
As a dedicated member of the orthopaedic community, Dr. O’Connor is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented his research at both national and regional meetings.
Outside of his surgical practice, Dr. O’Connor enjoys spending quality time with his family. Together, they love to travel, cook, and attend live music events. He also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and can often be found playing golf, cycling, or hiking.
