Dr. Michael Harrington is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions as well as general orthopaedics. His expertise includes minimally invasive (MIS) bunion surgery, flatfoot correction, total ankle replacement, and advanced treatment for ankle fractures, tendon injuries, and Achilles disorders. He also specializes in ankle instability, foot and ankle deformity correction, ankle arthroscopy, foot and ankle fusions, and nonsurgical treatments for conditions such as plantar fasciitis. Dr. Harrington is committed to delivering patient-first, goal-driven care and works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan based on their individual needs, goals, and lifestyle.

After earning his undergraduate degrees from Albany Memorial School of Nursing and the University at Albany, Dr. Harrington received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center before pursuing advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle care at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Harrington has been actively involved in orthopaedic research and education, contributing to publications, presentations, and other professional activities focused on advancing foot and ankle care.
