Getting my life back
I struggled for many years to maintain my active lifestyle after my retirement of golfing and becoming a grandmother along with many community activities commitments that I enjoyed for many years. My knee pain seemed to come on very quickly and increased to a level that couldn’t be satiated with cortisone shots and pain relief creams. After receiving an MRI describing my damage and then basic X-rays at my first visit with Dr Kryzak revealed a very disturbing image of my knees and the shape they were in made my decision for knee replacement very easy to make. I started with my left knee which was in the worst shape and my recovery from that went so well that I didn’t hesitate to have my right knee done later that year and my recovery from that one was just as successful. I just completed my 2 year and 1 year follow ups with Dr Kryzak both with very satisfactory results and I continue to get my daily activities back to normal. I have recommended Dr Kryzak and Albany Bone and Joint to many friends who have had the same positive experience as myself. If I could give one main word of advice to any patient receiving the same procedures as myself is to be diligent with your Physical Therapy.
