My Comeback Story: Thomas P.

I had surgery in January of 2021, after a severe broken left ankle from a misplaced meeting between my left foot and a curb, near my apartment in Troy. Dr. Chisena was extremely competent and installed about 13 plates and screws to hold everything together. After those 13 plates and screws were removed weeks later, (and the sutures healed), my ankle is as good as new (but I was out of shape)! Also, the entire staff is very professional and easy to work with. I can still run almost daily now, I'm just a little slower, because this was five years ago, and I'm 67.5 now! Still, I should mention that I ate a very healthy diet with extra green vegies, lots of organic produce and, of course, extra vitamin C to promote connective tissue healing. I HIGHLY recommend the Bone & Joint Center! Meanwhile, please watch your step when out walking or jogging!
