“I went to your office for a second opinion. I had been treated for foot pain for several months with a local doctor. I tried cortisone shots, wearing a large boot, in a cast for 5 weeks and the doctor said the next step was surgery. I was told by The Bone & Joint Center that I did not need surgery (Doctor reviewed my MRI and did examination of my foot). He gave me a small tie up brace to wear, took anti-inflammatory medicine, did ice baths for my foot, and exercises. It has been about 2 months and I am pain free. I am so thankful for this office for preventing me from getting an unnecessary surgery and for my foot feeling better than it has in almost a year.”

“I have arthritis in my left foot in the area of my large toe knuckle. I was told by my podiatrist that I should stay away from surgery if possible. I had such pain in my large toe knuckle that is was limiting my walking. It pained a lot. I was very discouraged. I was only able to wear heavy walking/hiking shoes or could not walk on it. I was very discouraged that it was going to end my hiking and outdoor exploration.
I had excellent results from a shoulder surgery another of your wonderful doctors did for me in Oct. 2015 and decided to speak to him about my foot. I decided to speak to one of your foot doctors. I just cannot say enough to express my thanks for giving me back my mobility. My foot continues to improve. Dr. Bagchi did tell me it takes a long time for a foot to heal. It has been 6 months and it continues to improve. I am SO happy with the results!! I have a 3 week hiking trip planned in Montana and Wyoming this fall. I am thankful every day for what Dr. Bacghi has done for me to be able to continue to walk and be in the places I love. I also want to recognize Dr. Bagchi's nurse. She was great. I contacted her several times before and after my surgery. She was wonderful. I really appreciate all the help she gave me.
I live an hour away and am so glad I made the trip to Albany instead of going to my local doctor. I hope I never need more surgery, but if I do, I feel safe knowing I have a great place to go for help.
If anyone who reads this thinks I am a pushover and that is why this is such a great review that could not be further from the truth. I went to a local orthopedic doctor for my shoulder and was very unhappy with his suggestions, and I revisited my then local physician for help finding someone else to take care of my shoulder and he sent me to you for my shoulder surgery. I do not take my health lightly and am very comfortable complaining or going elsewhere when I am dissatisfied. Thank you so very much.”
