“The experience with Bone and Joint and Dr. Das was absolutely wonderful. The scheduling, actual day of surgery and after care was exceptional. I am so happy with the outcome of my surgery. The follow up appointment and the way that the questions I had were answered were timely and appropriate. Dr. Czajka was also instrumental in treating my injury as he saw me immediately after we arrived back in Albany (from the injury that happened in Aruba). He explained what had occurred and the treatment plan. Both Dr. Das and Dr. Czajka's confidence in my treatment plan was a tremendous help in assuring me that everything would be okay.
My only wish is that Bone and Joint would accept Aetna. My employer only offers one type of insurance and this is it. So after hitting my in-network deductible for care in 2016, by choosing Bone and Joint I had a new $4,000 deductible to meet. Aetna steered me to an in-network ortho group, but I preferred to go with Bone and Joint based on your reputation (this was the first surgery of this nature I had ever had).

I was impressed from the start that the appointment was on time, I didn't have to wait.
The nurse that took my info and vitals was very pleasant. I had been referred to Dr. Das by a friend and he assured me that I would be pleased with the entire process. I have 2 rotator cuff tears and I was planning on an operation and 3 months of recovery. When I met Dr. Das I was comforted by his voice and knowledge of tears in the shoulder. After he evaluated the MRI, to my surprise, he did not want to operate. He explained that a cortisone shot and a little physical therapy should take care of the tear. And so far he's correct. I'm not 100% yet but each week I'm getting closer.
