Dr. Alexander Riccio is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon and specializes in operative treatment options for spine-related problems. He is dedicated to working with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their individual needs and goals as well as gets them back to an active, healthy lifestyle.
At Siena College in Loudonville, New York, Dr. Riccio received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Following medical school, Dr. Riccio completed his residency training in neurological surgery at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, before electing to undergo additional training through an orthopaedic spine surgery fellowship at the New York University School of Medicine.
