“Saw Dr. Czajka due to a sharp pain in my hip. After looking at my X-rays, he determined that my hip joint would need to be replaced sometime in the near future. I received a cortisone shot in September of 2015 which lasted through the winter and into the spring. On March 7th I went to Dr. Czajka to schedule the surgery, which would be scheduled for April 25th. Dr. Czajka told me what to expect and what the surgery would entail. When looking at the x-rays which were roughly a year apart, I could see why I was in such pain. During the process leading up to my surgery, Dr. Czajka told me exactly what would take place and what to expect afterwards. By the time the day of my surgery came around, I was in a great deal of pain and could barely walk into the hospital to be admitted. I have known Dr. Czajka for a long time and have gone to him for other injuries not as major as this one and in each case, have been a lot better after seeing him. Since I have a phobia about needles my biggest fear was getting the IV put in, the part about the surgery itself didn't phase me all that much because I knew I was in very good hands. All my questions were answered before and after my surgery and my recovery is going great! My experience with Dr. Czajka, as always, was EXCELLENT!”

“"In December 2015, I mysteriously got a bacterial infection which settled in my left knee. Dr. Czajka performed emergency surgery to cleanse the site and oversaw my hospital stay and recovery while the infection in my knee was being treated. He is a very personable physician with excellent skills and am happy that he was on call the day I was sent to the emergency room for care. I have known Dr. Czajka for over 30 years and he has treated the many injuries for my children, but this is the first time he has treated me. “I suffered 3+ yrs and wasn't able to walk without pain or feeling that my balance was in jeopardy. Dr. Roberts had and X-ray taken and he said I would need both my hips replaced. He explained the procedure and I also saw the video online. He and his nurse set up the first surgery and they gave me printed, detailed material of what the next months would entail. (there was directions for the hospital for the pre-op as well as the day of surgery) I had a one night stay. I was up within hrs of my surgery! The hospital and nurses were wonderful. Dr. Roberts came in and asked if I had questions and he said the procedure went well. Then in 6+ months, I had my 2nd hip replacement and the experience was the same. The healing is quick especially if you do the exercises to build your muscles for stability. I am one month after the second surgery and I am walking with balance and no pain!! The office staff and Dr. Roberts are very busy but not too busy to answer and help you at any time. I even had a phone number to call with any concerns or questions that I may have forgotten. I highly recommend Dr. Roberts. He has a wonderful gift. I can walk and do all my everyday things. Life is good. Thank you so very much.”

“Prior to 2013 I had been very active for several years. Increasing hip pain decreased my activity and saw Dr. Shatynski. He told me about Dr. Roberts and the anterior hip replacement surgery. I had both hips replaced in 2013 (17 June and 5 August). I now walk many distances and run on trails (very slowly - but I was never fast!). On 1 November 2015, I walked the NYC Marathon!! “I have worked with three doctors - Dr. Alley, Dr. Roberts and Dr. Zanaros - One common denominator - At every visit - I felt like they knew me, remembered me and treated me as a professional would treat a friend. The relationship spanned several years including two joint replacements, a knee and a shoulder. As for "signing in" managers were attentive to back up and brought people to the front counter to handle backups so there was little wait time upon arrival. Another point of contact - the doctor's nurse - modeled the doctor's mannerism - a professional treating me like a friend.  ”

“Dr. DiPreta repaired my ankle by inserting a mechanical replacement. Dr. DiPreta was no nonsense and straight to the point and provided very adequate direction from the operation through to the Psychical Therapy. The original injury occurred over 45 years ago in an airplane accident. After all this time the ankles had created a great deal of discomfort. The replacement ankle is proving to be a significant improvement and with therapy in improving daily.”

“Never have I encountered a doctor who truly listens and hears what their patient has to say as I have with Todd Shaytnski. I have never felt rushed during any of my appointments. I got started later in life exercising, at age 55 running and then weight lifting & group exercise classes. Have had many  bumps along the way and a severe injury twenty one months ago, gr III-IV gastrocnemius tear and have been extremely  satisfied with the treatment/care I've received from Dr. Shatynski. I think what speaks volumes to me is that he's an athlete (Ironman and runner) so he understands a patient's active lifestyle and since he has had knee surgery totally understands what it is like to be sidelined for a while or forever. I also like the fact that he's a sports med doc, not a surgeon so I really feel he looks at the patient in a different way than a surgeon might.”

“I would like to say that I have been a patient at the bone and joint center since 2012. I started going to the bone and joint center for cortisone injections in my left knee by Dr. Shatynski. I have had two knee replacements by Dr. Roberts and he has done a wonderful job on my knees. Also I was a patient of Dr. Alley he did surgery on my meniscus tears of both knees. He did a wonderful job also. I had surgery on my left hand and wrist by Dr. Morse and he is a wonderful doctor Also.
