“I was 54 years old, active, and in the best shape of my life. I was having pain in my left hip, a catching sensation; I was diagnosed with a labral tear and treated by Dr. Das. He told me that it looked like I would need a hip replacement. I was bone-on-bone within 6 months. I had to use a cane to walk and I was in constant pain. Dr. Das referred me to Dr. Roberts. Dr. Roberts said he would be able to help me and that he would use an anterior approach and that I would be able to walk right away.  I had surgery. From the minute I walked through the door at AMCH, everyone told me what a wonderful surgeon Dr. Roberts is and how pleased I would be. It was an impressive set up. Dr. Roberts has a team of anesthesiologists he uses, and the ortho floor is accustomed to his patients and follows a strict protocol. I had my hip replaced in the morning and by evening, I walked around the RN station with a walker; it was the last time I needed an assistive device. I attended PT for 4 months, worked hard, and did everything asked of me. I am able to exercise again, I can walk and the best part is that from the moment I came out of surgery, the pain was gone!!! Dr. Roberts gave me my life back!!”

“I tore my ACL and got in for surgery. Dr. Alfred and his team did an amazing job with my ACL reconstruction using my hamstring. I have received many compliments on my scar from the harvesting of the hamstring. It's healing flat, thin, and it's color is lightening up nicely. Whenever I called with questions, Dr. Alfred got back to me right away. He's full of experience and knowledge that he's more than willing to share. I am so glad he fixed a part of me that I'll need for the rest of life.”

“After a motorcycle accident, I had pain in my hips. It took a few years before they found the labral tear. Dr. Das was recommended by my hip specialist, almost 2hrs away. Dr. Das was able to repair the tear and reshape the ball without cutting any of the labrum. Very little pain within a day and now walking better. I would give him 6 stars out of 5. He is amazing.”

When that did not work out, a friend suggested I come and see Dr. Phelan, as he was a knee guy and she assured me would help me out. After reviewing my x-rays and medical history, he was willing to do a total knee replacement that many had said no to. Now after having just completing my 2nd knee replacement, I am so glad I came back. I couldn't be happier.
